The Right Care, Right Time, Right Place programme is currently at the end of a period of engagement which has involved us listening to what you think.
People in over 40 voluntary and community groups were asked their opinions and drop in sessions took place in ten locations so the public could talk to doctors, nurses and managers.
At six events stakeholders gave their views; this included local GPs, social services, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and representatives from Calderdale and Kirklees Council along with staff from Locala, Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and local clinical commissioning groups.
A total of 2,400 people sent in responses to questionnaires and this information has been pulled together into a report and will inform the proposals Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group are developing which, if this involves significant service change, will be the subject of public consultation.
